Before you apply, please note the following:

This doctoral program only accepts applicants who have a supervisor from the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, the Department of Physics or the Department of Earth Sciences.

You will have to find suitable supervisors yourself. In addition, you first need to be admitted to the doctorate in the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, the Department of Physics or the Department of Earth Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin.

The doctoral program does not have any funding options.

Application requirements according to § 3 of the Doctoral Studies Regulations of Natural Sciences

• Admission to the doctorate at one of the participating departments

• Sufficient English language skills corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
