Marlon Bachmann, Maputo (Mozambique)

My name is Marlon Bachmann. I am 18 years old and have been at Freie Universität for a year, where I am apprenticed to become a computer science specialist in system integration. In a little less than five weeks, I will be flying to Africa with two colleagues, to Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. We will be participating in the “MoçamBIT 5” project there. Our job will be to build a campus network at an African higher education institution within two weeks. I’m really looking forward to everything: the people, the food, the landscape – everything I am going to experience. And I am happy about the responsibility we are being given with this project.
