This is a workshop for students with an international background or multicultural connections and experiences, who are interested in self-reflection and exchange of ideas and experiences with others.

There is a lot of potential in consciously connecting different living environments and cultures. In this workshop you will find methods for self-reflection about your own identity and biography using creative means. Here you can let your imagination play, try out different media and techniques (e.g. intuitive painting, storytelling with collage, art journaling, artful memories with old photographs, stitch stories, mixed media with botanicals) and be surprised by the results. First you take time to reflect and create and can indulge undisturbed in the creative flow . You experience a time of calm and relaxed concentration. Finally, contemplating your work and having inspiring conversations with other students may help you identify and use your resources. You'll take home both your work as well as ideas to clarify your questions. And some things may even become clear later, when the pieces of your own puzzle come together.
Everyone is creative! Students of all disciplines are welcome. No previous knowledge is required, just the time and desire to try things out and exchange ideas. The number of participants is limited. If necessary, further appointments will be offered. If the weather allows it, we will hold the workshop in nature. Language: Englisch and/or German.
