In the exercise, the topics of the lectures are calculated by hand and by using R. Programming with the software R will be done under guidance and later independently. A wide range of examples from biological studies will be used to set up and solve systems of equations. We will study the typology of differential systems and study explicit criteria to determine the stability of those steady states and understand the key interest of this property. During the exercises, we will focus on specific models of prey-predator systems, of fishing, of epidemiology with the case of the Malaria and with the classical SIR models. Objectives of this seminar on PC will be to explore the broad numerical solutions to solve, analyze and illustrate a model with R. An opening to the software Simile, a visual modelling frame based on an object-based representation with an easy structure for integrating a spatially explicit structure. The last seminar am PC will be a facultative open class on potential numerical issues to solve the systems encountered in the project that will be part of the assessment of the course. Schließen
