The course will be in English. It will take place in two weekly sessions of two hours each. The
course material will be distributed during the course.
Kommentar
This MA course will center around the reading of Akkadian mythological-epical texts in the original
language and in cuneiform. At first, several text passages from various parts of the standard version of
the Gilgamesh Epic will be read and analysed. If there is time left, we shall also read some passages
from the poem Enuma eliš. Schließen
