Members of the Organizational Development team within the Division of Academic Affairs support the Division of Academic Affairs in various areas, including:

Supporting the implementation of projects and optimizing process operations in teaching and learning
Surveying, modeling, and visualizing workflows, interfaces, and functions
Identifying good practice examples and deriving appropriate solutions for administrative processes
Fostering communication, information, and transparency (e.g., developing guidelines, tools)

At a Glance

The Organizational Development of Academic Affairs team provides support for development and change projects related to teaching and education. Their work is guided by the goal of finding sustainable solutions.

In order to promote a common understanding of structures, responsibilities, processes and to boost potential for improvement, the team facilitates conversations based on mutual exchange. This establishes a basis for identifying examples of good practice and developing viable solutions.

In order to ensure transparency and that people are committed to the process, the team makes sure that everyone is in agreement on the steps involved and that the steps are reasonable. By documenting the process, we are able to secure the knowledge gained, share it with others, and apply it to other projects with different requirements.

Furthermore, the team is involved in creating informational materials such as guidelines, manuals, and structured overviews.

This area of work constitutes an important contribution to the university’s administration in terms of efficacy and convenience.
