The FU-BUA Staff Unit functions as an interface between the Administative Office of the Berlin University Alliance and Freie Universität Berlin. Members of Freie Universität can contact the Staff Unit with all matters relating to the Berlin University Alliance. The Staff Unit is part of Division VI: Research. One exception is the area of teaching and studying, which is handled by the BUA Office for Teaching and Learning. The FU-BUA Staff Unit supports all the members of Freie Universität Berlin who are involved on the boards and committees of the Berlin University Alliance: the Steering Committees, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors.
