On behalf of all the members of Freie Universität, President Professor Günter M. Ziegler congratulated Dr. Margot Friedländer on her 101st birthday, wishing her good health and strength for her to continue her work in the coming year. He pointed out that we all remember the award ceremony with joy and inspiration. On May 25, 2022, the Department of History and Cultural Studies at Freie Universität recognized Ms. Friedländer’s scholarly work as a contemporary witness and awarded her an honorary doctorate.
