Strategy and Leadership (not only) in International Relations: Defining purpose, creating impact, and maintaining motivation

The program is tailored for university professionals that work in international settings and deal with questions of strategy, management, and leadership. Those topics usually go hand in hand, and often, they tend to overwhelm us: we need to define strategies, implement the next steps, manage our teams, keep up the motivation, and navigate international academic relations in contexts with an ever-increasing complexity.

How can we formulate strategies that align with our institutional goals? Which skills do we need to manage effectively? Which tools do we need to navigate the complexities of our settings? Can we increase our own adaptability? Over the course of this program, we will delve into key aspects of strategy and leadership, providing a holistic approach to effectively manage and enhance international initiatives at universities. We will exchange good practice of multi-stakeholder management in international relations and explore – your! - unique solutions to common problems. And while we learn a lot, we will also enlarge our support network of a fun crowd of international colleagues.

Note: while we have an international starting point, the program is also suitable for colleagues from other parts of the university – we just believe that all parts of our institutions are touched by internationalization.
