More Flexibility of Mobility Formats for Students
In order to enable more students to participate in the Erasmus+ programme who are unable to complete a long-term stay abroad, more flexible mobility options are now available:
- the minimum duration of study visits is now two months (previously three months)
- PhD students can now also carry out short-term mobilities:
see doctoral internship mobility - Students can also participate in "blended" mobility formats (combination of short stay abroad and virtual exchange):
see Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) - Students who are not able to carry out long-term mobilities can also participate in short-term mobilities, for example in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) or Erasmus+ Blended Short-term Internships. This is especially interesting for students with fewer opportunities (students with a disability, a chronic illness, students taking care of children and the like, see above).
