OLS - Online Linguistic Support

Online Linguistic Support is a free online tool for helping Erasmus+ participants improve their knowledge of the language in which they will work or study during their stay abroad as well as of the local language(s) that they may encounter in their everyday life.

OLS consists of two elements:

1. Language assessment

Every Erasmus+ participant (except native speakers) will have to test their current level in the language that they will use while studying or working abroad. The results will not have any impact on their participation in the Erasmus+ programme, but will give them access to the online language course.

As a participant, you will take one language assessment prior to your stay abroad and one at the end. Both assessments are compulsory as part of your participation in the Erasmus+ programme. Please note: Starting from the academic year 2020/21 the final language assessment will no longer be required.

2. Language course

Erasmus+ participants will receive access to an online language course in their language of studies or work and/or the local language of the destination country. The online language course offers a variety of possibilities from independent learning to live coaching, MOOCs and interactive live tutorials.
