Una Europa celebrates its first Una Europa Talk on 4 November 2020. The talk will be hosted by Freie Universität Berlin.

"Resistance is futile. You will be digitalized!" This slightly altered quote from the Star Trek series describes some academics’ worst fears and others’ greatest hopes: The quantum leap in digitalization in the world of work as lately accentuated by the Covid crises was only the beginning. The future of university life will be much more digital, whether we like it or not. How universities will be transformed along this process and how their interaction with the outside world will change are two of the key questions of our first Una Europa Talk.

One student and three scientists from the Una Europa community, all of them experts in various fields of digitalization, will discuss these and many more questions live from our studios in Helsinki, Krakow, Leuven and Berlin.

The Una Europa Talk is part of the Berlin Science Week 2020.
