About MIRI - Master International Research Internship

The Una Europa Master International Research Internship programme (MIRI) aims to:

  • bring together students with researchers who work on topics in the field of sustainability,
  • support international research opportunities and research stays for master's students,
  • help facilitate exchanges for master's students with research groups and individual researchers in order to enhance their qualification and future career paths
  • strengthen international research on sustainability
  • open new avenues for future collaborative projects.

Are you a researcher or a research group who wants to host or send students?

All researchers and research groups from Una Europa partner universities can become a partner in MIRI. You can send us your data through our online form. You will then be added to our Una Europa MIRI database.

Are you a student looking for an international internship opportunity?

Follow our three steps:

  1. Find a host.
Browse our MIRI database and find relevant research partners in our Una Europa alliance. You can contact them and find out if they can currently provide capacities for your research stay.
  2. Organize funding through your home university.
Your home university provides funding opportunities for internships. You can find a list of contact persons at your university here: [link under construction - 1 OCT]
  3. Plan your trip and go abroad.
Once you have successfully contacted a host and acquainted yourself with funding opportunities, you should have a look at information for incoming students at your prospective hosting university. Make sure to look at their websites for incoming students.
