Certificate of European Studies: for Outgoing Students in Political Science
FU Berlin is a partner university in Una Europa and can offer students of the BA Political Science the opportunity to earn a Certificate of European Studies.
Students can apply from 15 December 2023 to 15 January 2024.
These universities currently participate in the program:
- KU Leuven (Belgium)
- Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain)
- Alma Mater Studorium Università di Bologna (Italy)
- Uniwersytet Jagiellonski w Krakowie (Poland)
- Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France)
- University of Edinburgh (UK)
Students will take two online core courses in the certificate:
- European Integration (10 ECTS)
- European Cultures and Societies (10 ECTS)
Beyond this, it is possible to do a semester abroad and take various other courses in the field of Political Science and International Relations at one of the partner universities for 30 ECTS. Semesters abroad can be funded through Erasmus+ programs. You can find an overview of study programs of different universites via our website, which also provides information on how you can have these courses recognized for your BA degree.
The following mobility options are available at our partner universities in the academic year 2024/25 in addition to the regular Erasmus-exchange options of the Otto Suhr Institute:
- 6 places at KU Leuven
- 2 places at Alma Mater Studorium Università di Bologna
- 2 places at Uniwersytet Jagiellonski w Krakowie
(Please note: The selection for admission to the Certificate is organized in the context of the awarding of places for the semester abroad.)
