What's it about?

With a strong emphasis on empowering early-career researchers, the Una Europa Seed Funding Call 2024 supports academics from our 11 partner universities to pursue a collaborative research, education, or outreach project with counterparts across the alliance. What's in it for me?

Established researchers and early-career researchers of Freie Universität Berlin can apply for projects within the Una Europa alliance. The Seed Funding is open to applications from all disciplines and it is your chance to secure up €39k to embark on a new collaboration and accelerate your academic career.

How does it work?

Project proposals can be submitted until 28 June 2024. The projects have to be coordinated by one of the Una Europa partner universities. There should be at least one academic lead per university at a minimum of three additional Una Europa universities and at least one early-career researcher at each participating partner university. Una Europa encourages interdisciplinary research and participation of wider university staff including established researchers, professional staff, and students.
