Subjects Taught at Freie Universität Berlin Ranked Very High in New CHE University Ranking
One Third of the Subjects Were Reassessed

Freie Universität Berlin performed very well in the most recent university ranking by the Center for Higher Education (CHE). New good results were achieved for the subject of history. In English and American studies, education, German studies, psychology, and Romance languages, Freie Universität’s good performance in the previous evaluation in 2010 was reconfirmed.
In the CHE rankings, each year one third of the subjects are newly evaluated. The subjects evaluated this year were language studies, education, psychology, and engineering. According to information provided by CHE, more than 300 colleges and universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands were surveyed.The rankings evaluate facts about studying, teaching, the facilities and equipment, and research, as well as judgments made by 250,000 students.
