This AiS-FUB joint information session took place on 23 February 2023 online.

AiS organized a information session about the DFG in cooperation with the team of Research Funding and Information at Freie Universität Berlin on 23 February 2022 online. The goal of this information session was to provide a short overview of the funding landscape in Germany with a focus on the DFG and its individual research grant schemes, including an own position for postdoctoral researchers. The speakers, Victoria Abakumovskikh and Susanne Leder two research managers at Freie Universität Berlin, payed particular attention to the proposal structure, the budget calculation, the evaluation process and also gave some general advice on a successful proposal writing.
