The Ernst Reuter Day celebrating the founding anniversary of Freie Universität Berlin took place digitally on December 3, 2021, due to the pandemic. The keynote speech entitled "Emil's World" by science journalist and author Ranga Yogeshwar focused on how future generations can meet the challenges of the future. Ranga Yogeshwar, who became a grandfather last year, ventured a look into the future of his grandson Emil and his generation.
