Library Login

A valid library card is necessary for the library login (library computer, library portal). User cards are issued free of charge at the circulation desks.

Interlibrary Loan

If a publication is not held at any of the FU libraries you can request it as an interlibrary loan. A valid FU-Campuscard for students or library card is required. Interlibrary loans are processed through the Berlin-Brandenburg library network KOBV (Fernleihindex). See information concerning interlibrary loan on the University Library (UB) website.
Fees may apply. Items delivered can be picked up at the UB circulation desk – or at the UB reading room, if they may not be taken out.

Purchase Suggestion

Purchase suggestions can be submitted through the online form at the UB homepage if the item in question is a recent publication. Suggestions can be made for the University Library or for a department library. A reply will will be given by e-mail. If the publication suggested is purchased, it can be delivered directly to the circulation desk or to the reading room according to users' requests.
