Doctoral Grants (3-year funding period) and Doctoral Memberships for the Academic Year 2019/20. Deadline: Nov 30, 2018.

The Graduate School of the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies admits up to ten doctoral candidates for the academic year 2019/20. The graduate program offers individualized supervision and provide research opportunities in one of the six disciplines represented at the John F. Kennedy Institute (culture, economics, history, literature, political science, sociology).

Based on an innovative research program, the interdisciplinary curriculum of the Graduate School has been designed to respond to the growing need to move beyond traditional disciplines while remaining anchored within a discipline. The doctoral study program covers a period of three years.

Applications for six doctoral grants (funding period: 2019-2022) and additional doctoral memberships for the academic year 2019/20 can be submitted via the application platform, deadline is November 30, 2018.
