Second German Science Day on 16 November

After the tremendous success of the event in 2012 with more than 1,000 visitors, the DWZ once more opens its doors to the public.
On 16 November 2013, starting at 10.30 am, the partners of the DWZ will present their work in various workshops, seminars, presentations, information and consulting events, bringing to you the newest developments in German research as well as information on study and research possibilities.

On this day the Freie Universität Berlin will present the following events :

1 p.m.: Panel Discussion: “Transforming Gender. Gender Studies and Equal Opportunity Policies in Egyptian Universities“

3 p.m.: Panel Discussion: “Whatever happened to the Campus?
(Former) Student Representatives speak about their Experiences on the Campus in Cairo and in Berlin”

4 p.m.: Dr. Mustafa Abdalla: “Friendly Skulls, Mechanical Bodies: The Encounter with Cadavers in Medical Schools in Egypt”

Additionally Freie Universität Berlin will offer special counselling hours on “Studying at FU Berlin” and the following programs: Business & Economics, Medical Anthropology and postdoctoral Programs of the Centre for Area Studies.
