Applications are now open for the 2025 Humanity in Action Fellowships! We are looking for applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and the USA.

The Fellowship brings together students and recent graduates to engage with global issues of democracy, pluralism, and human rights through a unique, international lens. The programs are intensive, offering space for diverse thinking, dialogue, and action.

Who can apply?
We are seeking motivated students and graduates with a passion for human rights, civic engagement, and social change. Fellows can come from various fields – including science, art, and activism – but must share a commitment to cooperation, empathy, and challenging their own biases.

Fellowship Programs & Dates:

• Amsterdam (June 17 - July 3, 2025): Reclaiming Narratives: Shaping the Future Through History and Activism
• Berlin (July 7 - 22, 2025): Post-Migrant Perspectives on Germany as an Immigration Country
• Copenhagen (August 11 - 28, 2025): Climate Change, Human Rights, and Democracies in Crisis
• Sarajevo (July 9-31, 2025 – Hybrid):Post-Conflict Reconstruction in Bosnia and Herzegovina

  • In-Person: July 17 - 31, 2025

From September to December 2025, Fellows will work on their individual action projects.
