Looking to become a mentor or boost your group leadership skills? Whether you're a “senior” mentor or just starting, this course is the ideal way to take your skills to the next level.

In this two-session course, you will gain a solid foundation in the basics of group leadership and
communication and how to apply them in the context of mentoring. You will discover useful session
planning tools and techniques. This will enable you to structure your mentoring sessions in a way
that helps you conduct it and your mentee's needs as first-semester students. Using discussions
with other students, you'll explore what it means to have the role of a mentor. By the end of the
course, you´ve acquired a large toolbox of methods using hands-on experience and plenty of
interaction.
