SCRIPTS and the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS) are very happy to announce the Call for Applications for the BGTS 2025 intake, starting September 2025.

The Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS) is looking for early career researchers. If you are interested in researching why different parts of the world are developing the way they are, the BGTS is the place for you. Study at top universities (Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Hertie School) in one of the most exciting cities in the world.

The vivid research landscape in Berlin is the perfect starting point for your academic career. The contracts are limited to three years and start September 1, 2025.

 

WHO CAN APPLY

• You finished or are about to finish your Master’s degree with excellent grades.
• Your academic background is either in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Area Studies, or Economics.
• Your English language skills are at C1 level.
• Additional people with their own third- party funding (e.g. DAAD) might be accepted into the programme.
