Call for Applications: SCRIPTS Digital Autumn School “How to Apply to Grad School in the Social Sciences"

The Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies invites young scholars to apply for this year’s Digital Autumn School (DAS), focused on “How to Apply to Grad School in the Social Sciences.”

This program aims to support scholars from structurally disadvantaged regions by providing essential training for writing successful graduate school applications. We are excited to offer up to 20 spots in our fully online program, making it accessible to candidates worldwide.


WHO CAN APPLY

  • You finished or are about to finish your Master’s degree
  • You were or are currently enrolled at an academic institution in a structurally disadvantaged region
  • Students and alumni of the SCRIPTS-Partner Network will be treated preferentially
  • Your academic background is either in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Area Studies, or Economics

HOW TO APPLY

  • Cover letter indicating your motivation for pursuing a PhD and your current topic of interest (1 Page)
  • Short academic CV (1 Page)
  • Email your documents to BIRT@scripts-berlin.eu with Application DAS in the subject line
  • Deadline for application: September 20, 2024 (2 p.m., Berlin time)
