How to survive in a German university? Intercultural Training for International Students

Are you an international student and new to the FU Berlin? The new culture, the different values and forms of communication sometimes amaze you and perhaps lead to misunderstandings or even frustration? Would you like to network with like-minded people?

We invite you to an interactive workshop on "how to survive in a German university". There you will be able to reflect on intercultural differences and interactions and develop your own strategies to feel comfortable in the German university system. You will also make valuable contacts with peers and be well prepared for the coming semester.

Time:

Friday, 24.11.23, 09:00 – 17:00 hrs (with sufficient breaks); follow-up dates on 05.12. & 19.12. both at 9 - 10:30 hrs.

Registration:

This workshop is especially addressed to international female, inter, non-binary, trans and agender students. Depending on the language requested, the workshop will be held either in German or English. Please indicate your prefered language upon your registration.
