Dahlem Research School Molecular Science
Research Focus
The program continues work and research carried out in the bilingual master’s program in Chemistry, the master’s programs in Bioinformatics and Polymer Science, or the master’s program in Physics as well as the previously existing Diplom programs in Physics and Biochemistry. Selected work groups of Freie Universität Berlin will cooperate with neighbouring research institutions to foster interdisciplinary networking and integration of teaching and research activities. The associated projects comprise: Multivalency as a Chemical Action Principle; Fluorine as a Key Element; Protonation Dynamics in Protein Function, Scaling Cascades in Complex Systems; Multiscale Biosystems, Macromolecular Bioscience; Nanoscale Functional Materials and Systems
