The university's IT deployment is (as described) structured by way of so-called IT processes.  In order to achieve a consistently high standard of security for the Free University of Berlin, these IT processes are subject to uniform basic security measures, a uniform role model as well as a uniform evaluation scales for conducting protection requirement and risk analyses.
