Dr. Kathryn Murphy, fellow and tutor at Oriel College, University of Oxford, has received a Leverhulme International Fellowship which allows her to join echo as a Visiting Fellow from April to July 2024. During her stay in Berlin, she will focus on a project on „Impartiality and the Essay“, while also continuing to work on two book projects: Robert Burton: A Vital Melancholy, and The Tottering Universal: English Metaphysical Prose in the Seventeenth Century.
