Prerequisites

Applicants need to have completed at least two semesters of university/college level studies at their home university/college and have a GPA of at least 3.0 (students whose GPA is below 3.0 are welcome to apply, but cannot be guaranteed admission until their overall qualifications are more closely reviewed).

Applicants should have a very good command of English. Non-native speakers should plan to submit English test scores along with their application. For TOEFL, the score should be minimally on a B2 level (scores of 72-94). For IELTS, the overall score must be at least 6.5 and the scores on individual parts must be no lower than 6.0.
Please note, that internship placements might have varying language prerequisites based on their professional field. The program reserves its rights to adjust its language prerequisites based the specific placement.

German language abilities beyond the Beginner level are recommended but not mandatory.

Fees

Upon applying, students pay an application, a tuition, and a program fee (click here for more information on fees and what is included)

Housing

FU-BEST Internship does not own student housing. The program is working with third party housing providers in Berlin to offer applicants individual offers for the duration of the program. Applicants opting for single-occupancy housing on their application form will receive an individual housing offer after they have been admitted.
