DFG Press Release - “Ombuds Committee for Research Integrity”: Central Point of Contact with a New Legal Status and a New Title
The former “German Research Ombudsman” body has been transformed into a registered association and is now called the “Ombuds Committee for Research Integrity”. This is institutionally funded in accordance with a decision by the German Bundestag. Further information can be found in the DFG press release .

The Coordination Office for Research Integrity has been offering "Research Integrity" courses for doctoral candidates in German and English since this summer semester. New statutes for safeguarding good scientific practice published in the Amtsblatt of FU Berlin
The new Statutes for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice at the Freie Universität Berlin, which were adopted by the Academic Senate on 18 October 2023, were published in the Amtsblatt on 13 February 2024 and thus come into force. An English translation is currently being prepared.
