In addition to standard software such as compilers and text editors, we also provide many scientific software packages for a wide range of different research fields. For more information on using software, check the link to our documentation  below.

You can install your own programs on our system, but only in your own directories.  Installing to system directories is not possible and in particular, you cannot use the command sudo. However, if you need a particular, existing piece of software, you can also contact us and we can look into installing it centrally.
