Waste oil can accumulate in workshop areas as well as in laboratories, e.g. of vacuum pumps.

Unfortunately, canisters suspected of containing used oil are sometimes found on the outside of buildings.

Both in the case of regular accumulation of used oil and in individual cases when used oil canisters are found, please contact the Sustainability & Energy staff unit, Special Waste Disposal Team, for clarification on the correct disposal.
