Beverage or food cans are metal sales packaging that are collected in the yellow garbage can.

The cans should be largely empty of residue. Additional washing out is not necessary. Please do not stack containers. This could interfere with the sorting process. In addition to plastic packaging, metal packaging and composite materials can also be disposed of in the yellow garbage can.

ATTENTION: Please collect other recyclable materials made of metal separately together with electrical and electronic waste, as the disposal company grants compensation for this. If required, please contact the Sustainability & Energy staff unit, Special Waste Disposal team.
