When it comes to wrapping paper, it's important to look closely. Most wrapping paper is printed paper. This can be recycled via waste paper collection, as inks and varnishes can be removed from the waste paper during the de-inking process.

However, paper with plastic coating and wrapping paper made of metal foils are not suitable for waste paper recycling. They should therefore be disposed of as composite material in the yellow garbage can.

ATTENTION: Before disposing of wrapping paper, consider whether it can be used again.
