Cork, bottle corks

>>> Residual waste, but better >>> BSR recycling centre or environmental organisation

In principle, cork or corks from wine and champagne bottles are a valuable natural product that is too good for residual waste and should be recycled. However, in view of the small total quantities of corks to be disposed of, the expense of a separate internal university collection infrastructure cannot be justified.

For the environmentally conscious, the only option is private interim collection and drop-off at a recycling center run by the Berliner Stadtreinigung or an environmental organization such as NABU.

Those who do not want to go to this trouble can dispose of cork in small quantities with a correspondingly bad conscience in the residual waste.
