Spray cans and pressurized gas packages that are completely empty and no longer under pressure, i.e. no longer contain propellant gas, can be disposed of in the yellow garbage can.

If spray cans filled with contents are still found or accumulate in isolated cases, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Disposal Team, to clarify details of the disposal.
