Small quantities and occasional old textiles can be disposed of in the residual waste. There is currently no separate collection structure for textile waste at Freie Universität Berlin.

If larger quantities of old textiles accumulate, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Disposal Team, to discuss the disposal route in individual cases. The same applies if you need to dispose of textiles contaminated with chemicals.

ATTENTION: Large quantities of textiles from the construction sector (e.g. carpets) are to be disposed of in cooperation with the site manager from the Technical Department responsible for the respective construction project.
