With the Soccer World Cup drawing to an end the team of the university sports at Freie Universität Berlin has accepted a new challenge and you are welcome to join! Vilnius University Health and Sport Centre invites everybody in the academic community to participate the in international, interdisciplinary project „University Summer Challenge 2018“ from 1st of June - 31st of August.

Students, lecturers, professors, scientists, administration and other employees can register online to collect activity points for their university teams. Thereby, they not only challenge, but also motivate each other. It’s a great chance to start caring more for one’s personal wellbeing!

On this website you will find a physical activity calculator, various contests and articles, prizes and surprises, charts of your, your team's, your University's progress, invitations to sport events, videos, photos and the best recipe for the summer!

The project was born after a pilot project „VU Summer Challenge“ in 2016 for Vilnius University community. It was nominated among three most innovative academic sport projects in Europe. Apart from Freie Universität Berlin, 16 other universities from Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, Israel and Lithuania accepted the challenge.
