Who can borrow books?
Only members of the FU-Berlin can borrow books.

How can books be ordered?
Orders can only be placed via the library portal Primo.

When can the books be collected?
You will receive a message when the books are provided. For one week the books will then be available for you to pick up.

Is it possible to order books in another library?

You can order books from the Philological Library to all libraries of the FU that participate in the transfer service. You will be offered a choice during the ordering process
Books from other libraries cannot be collected from the Philological Library.

How can borrowed media be returned?
Returns are possible in all FU Libraries. Please also use the return boxes at the entrances.

Is it possible to renew borrowed books?
You can renew all books yourself via your account that have not been reserved by other users. Media reserved by other persons must be returned on time.

Please note:
Wearing a medical mask is compulsory when in the library. The mask can be removed at the workplace.

Keep the prescribed distance from other persons. Only a limited number of visitors will be admitted at any one time.
Disinfection facilities are provided.
