The Philological Library itself is an architectural masterpiece, literature about the architecture can be found here.

In addition, there are several art works that have been inspired by the Philological Library: by American artist mp Warming and Berlin artist Axel Malik.

Two works by mp Warming from the cycle Moth Possible are located in the entrance area of the library.

Axel Malik has donated the artistic results of his project "Die Bibliothek der unlesbaren Zeichen (the library of unreadable signs)", created for the 10th anniversary of the Philological Library in 2015, which can be found on all floors of the library. A bilingual flyer can be found here.
