Founding a start-up is connected with the question of possible financing, among other things. In order to create a successful start and to work intensively on the project idea, there is also the possibility to apply for funding.

The aim of the event is to give all interested graduate students, research assistants and alumni an overview of suitable funding programs and to check the eligibility for funding.

Date 16.12.2020 16:30 - 17:30. The event will take place online.

Funding programs that will be presented:

1) Berlin Startup Stipendium: Support is available for founders who want to implement innovative and/or technology-based business ideas in a team (2-4 team members). The scholarship is awarded for 6 months and is endowed with 2.000 EUR/month.

2) EXIST Business Startup Grant: Students, graduates and scientists from universities and non-university research institutions who want to realize their founding idea are supported. These should be innovative technology-oriented or knowledge-based start-up projects with good prospects of economic success. Individual and team start-ups over 12 months are supported with up to 3,000 EUR/month and person. Beyond that there are 30,000 EUR material and 5,000 EUR coaching funds.
