Freie Universität Berlin is working on making its buildings more accessible.

The completion of the new Holzlaube building complex at Fabeckstrasse 23–25 in 2015 brought a new level of improved accessibility to our university, as the smaller subjects within the Department of History and Cultural Studies had previously been housed in villas that were not fully accessible.

You can get a list of the main buildings at Freie Universität Berlin with additional information on accessible parking, entrances without stairs, elevators, and accessible toilets. The list is maintained by the Advice Center and Representative for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses.

The Office for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses works together with Engineering and Utilities (Division III) of Freie Universität Berlin when planning new buildings.
