Anne Schindhelm is one of the initiators of an ecological community garden project called “UniGardening”. In her Student Research Stay at the University of British Columbia she would like to learn about the methods of organic farming at UBC Farm, which is supplying a whole campus with local and seasonal food. Programs of the UBC Farm will give her an inside in a more sustainable farming approach which may be adjustable to Berlin’s urban gardens. Furthermore her research stay will strengthen the network for further “SUSTAIN IT” initiatives.
