University Alliance for Sustainability Student Research and Study Stay at University of British Columbia October - December 2015

Media and Political Communication 

As a master student of Media and Political Communication eager to expand her practice-oriented knowledge and expertise on digital media solutions on social sustainability, Barbara Bencze was awarded a three-month Student Research Stay at the University of British Columbia.

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is strongly committed to the issue of sustainability and understands this issue as a societal conversation embracing ecological, social and economic fields.

Since her research field embraces the dynamic relationship between social movements, social activism and new media tools, UBC’s approaches in strengthening the interdisciplinary focus on sustainability serve as the ideal research area for her.
