University Alliance for Sustainability Volunteer Swap at University of British Columbia October 2015

SUSTAIN IT! 

As an active member of FUB’s sustainability initiative “SUSTAIN IT!”, Christina Sieber was awarded a Volunteer Swap to the University of British Columbia. It is the whole initiative’s aim to discover how sustainability was successfully embedded at UBC, how they have managed to inspire their students and staff at large, and how to adopt their successful strategies at Freie Universität Berlin, towards a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle on campus. The special aim of Christina’s volunteer swap is to scout for projects and contacts at UBC and arrange for get-togethers between volunteers at Freie Universität Berlin, particularly SUSTAIN IT!, and fellow volunteers and projects at the University of British Columbia.
