University Alliance for Sustainability Junior Research Stay at Peking University October - December 2015

Environmental Policy 

Kerstin Geppert is a PhD Candidate at the Environmental Policy Research Centre of the Freie Universität Berlin (FFU). She attended a summer program arranged by the Green Alliance of Universities for a Sustainable Future (GAUSF) which intended to connect students, lecturers and researchers interested in sustainable development from member universities. The encounter with Prof. Li Dihua, Assistant Professor at PKU’s College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture gave her insight into a project of bike sharing in the city of Hangzhou.

In her current Research Stay at PKU she conducted further research for her PhD on the topic of sustainable urban mobility in China.
