Dr. Andrei Dörre conducted a Senior Research Stay with the topic “Natural Resources in the Pamirs. Sustainable Water Management in the Past and Present” at Saint Pertersburg University 2016.

Dr. Andrei Dörre is a researcher the workgroup of Prof. Dr. Kreutzmann at Department of Geography, Human Geography. He also held some seminars at Freie Universität Berlin.

His research topics are mainly geographical development and transformation studies, resource economics and resource conflicts with a regional focus on Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan. Currently he is working on a research project called „Natural Resource Management in Central Asia".
