Prof. Dr. Nina Kolleck is a professor at Department of Educational Research and Social Systems. She conducted a Senior Research Stay at Hebrew University with the topic "Education for Sustainable Development and international conventions".

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has increasingly been implemented in educational systems worldwide and a growing number of schools have included this educational innovation in their curricula (UNESCO 2014). We have only limited knowledge about who puts educational innovations such as ESD into practice and what role social networks play in these
processes. At the same time, the realisation of innovations such as ESD is often related to formal education actors (e.g., schools).
