In the University Library entrance hall, there is an attended coat check for coats, jackets, umbrellas, bags etc.

Lockers

Outside the Reading rroom and close to Information Center and Circulation Desk, there are lockers for depositing personal objects during library hours.

The University Library does not accept liability for the objects stored in the lockers and with the coat check. Please do not deposit any valuables there (mobile phones, money, identification documents, bankckards, keys, etc.).

The lockers work with number codes or with MensaCards/Campuscards. Special terminals for activating MensaCards/Campuscards are installed in the locker areas on second and third floor ("1. OG" and "2. OG") of the University Library. This terminal also allows users to look up the number of the locker that is currently associated with their card.

The lockers have been labeled with names of more or less well-known authors to make it easier for you to remember where your belongings are.

Long-Time Lockers in Reading Room

There are lockers in the Reading Room for users to deposit personal materials if they plan to work in the Reading Room regularly over a rather long period of time. Application forms can be obtained from the Reading Room reception.
